In honor of the upcoming movie, here is the colored version of Jonboy's awesome Darth Vader piece. He was kind enough to provide my buddy Andy with the hi-res version, who then took it upon himself to ink it up ever so sweetly, and then Andy handed it off to me for colors, which were blast to do!

I think the coloring is really well done, you managed to keep the "cartoony" look (at least that's how I see this picture, don't know what you had in mind) but it looks great! :)

FUCK! I wanted to be the first to comment! damnit...well i saw it first...or second cuz i guess you saw...sorry. Anyways AWESOME. I already told you all this over the phone but i'm gonna type it again anyways. Way better then what I was picturing in my head. You know what man, forget it. You need to be working at Marvel, DC, Udon, Devils Due, or coloring that awesome guy Andrew Chuns pieces(yeah thats right, a shameless pathetic self plug, you like?) But in all seriousness, you are a pro man. Okay peace out.

Really Awesome like something out of a comic book ^__^ i love the exploasion glow and color and Vaders suit looks really awesome looking with the light shining off of it like that

damn, dude! excellant color work on jonboy's lines! the reflected lighting from the explosion looks great! i especially like the shine on his upper chest piece (what exactly would you call that). if you're not doing pro work already, then you need to be.
